its part of the camo you can tell because it has no depth or texture, it is probably cardboard stuck under the white camoflage

Could it be that the arrow is pointing to the light sensor to adjust the light in turns / up & down (Active HID Lights) and the covered oval shape thing is the washer?

I was talking about the OFFICIAL pictures of the 997 I saw a while ago with the final 997.

There was no such thing under the front light.

I think the car looks great. It has a lot more 'shape' to it, instead of the rather jelly mould appearance of the 996 (I still like the 996 too).

Also, I was thinking, would the driver of the car in the pictures been comfortable with someone walking around the car taking all those photos in what appears to be a traffic jam? I realise there's not a lot he could have done about it, but I'm sure they don't like it that such detailed pictures have been made available?

But why would the washer be located at the side of the lamps, instead of right under it?

btw, I love the looks of this beast. And the rims looks really good too.

Maybe this is a marketing thing from Porsche? And that is actually them who has taken the pics? lol
Or the guy could have had a very good camera so that he wouldn't jave to get up close? I dunno...

What can I say? Maybe the car on the "official" picture had a different washer design. And now they applied the CGT system. I wish I could say more but I don't have a clue.
