Yuk. Ugly.
Rule n*1: never try to make an SUV looks like a 911. That doesn't work (cayenne)
Rule n*2: never try to make a sedan look like a supercar. That doesn't work either.
Porsche has to make a sedan from scratch. If they try these kind of stunts, it will look ridiculous. Trust me.

The more I look the more I like, and Crash I want to see CGT dna on the panamera and give the 911 look a rest. Thats fine for the 997 variants and boxster but porshe went too far when they did it to the cayenne.
CGT dna or something completely new and like amjf said mean looking. So that when you HEAR the 500 hp panamera coming down the road and turn to look you are stunned by a low, wide, serious porsche that looks like it can handle, go, and won't have a clone on every block like that POS mule.

The Cayennes are everywhere and you often see young women or housewives driving them. That's an insult to a sports car brand. This Panamera thingie better be sleek and fast and not produced in too big a quantity.

Totally agree. Porsche will probably add some elements that contribute to a sense of family styling and brand unity (e.g. BMW's kidney grills).
But I'm not sure why every artist impression has the car looking like some stretched 911 or CGT. Won't happen IMO!
Then again, Mercedes was very successful in creating a sporty look with the CLS, so maybe even Porsche can make an interesting looking body shape.

If it looks like the Cayenne's midget sister and is as omnipresent as the current Cayenne (and by chance also uses a weak engine such as the 3,2-litre), then it's over for Porsche, as far as reputation goes. The car needs to look hot, it needs to be fast and only available with engines over 400 bhp, meaning at least a somewhat limited production.

Nah, I can't see Porsche adding a BMW kidney grill, somehow.

I'm not a fan of that rendidtion. The front will be much higher than that, too. Big engines in the front + EU safety regs = waist high nose on these cars. Apart from that, just looks like another generic Porsche motifs p'shop to me. I think all such attempts so far will be pretty wide of the mark.
