And of course I have only owned 2 Porsches (soon 3) not 8.
But I'd like to point out that in the parallel world of superbikes, strong competition has meant that the breed not only add power but continue to lose weight as a direct result of racing. If we consider the 911 yes it does get slightly better with every iteration. All I'm saying is that if you consider what they do when they really try, they could make the gap bigger to cars like M3s let alon M5s, RS4/6's and so-on. I'm not saying that Porsches don't offer a better driving experience. It's just that it would be nice if the gap were larger at their chosen price point.And quality...
It hasn't stopped me buying them or enjoying them and I like you have found Porsche to have great service and to be very responsive. My experience with Italian brands has been the opposite of course.
Anyway, thanks for the super forum, Christian, which is one of the few places we can debate these things properly with people who really know their cars.
