    ruf 997 conversion

    The Ruf Autocentre in Dallas appears to offer a 997 supercharger conversion. Does anyone know anything about this kit? Is the Ruf outfit in Dallas reputable?

    Why not just wait for the 997tt or at least wait till your warranty with porsche is gone

    From what i have heard, the Ruf turbo kit is a very good edition. Most people who buy 2nd hand Porsche with Turbo kit on usually want a RUF conversion as they are the best in the doing this. Why not consider the Ruf 997 turbo? 190,000 something Euros

    there is a thread regarding tuners, and who is the best... and as OZ said, RUF is THE porsche tuner... RUF tuned 930s and 993s are becoming collectors... and by the way, RUF is now listed in Germany as an "automaker", not just a tuner...

    Had the conversion done about 1,100 miles ago. Great kit even better service from the Dallas guys.
