    .. and your m.s.o. will most likey refuse to ride in it because of comfort issues, and then you wouldn't want her/him to because of weight / performance issues!

    Helps to be young, thin, and flexible. Some women I know think it's fun...initially. The point is, afterall, to have a pure sports car experience. If you want to pickup women I can name a few better cars than the Elise or 911....;)

    Richard Gere did pick up Julia Roberts in an Esprit however. She thought he was paying.

    my 10 year old son loves the new elise, but i cant even get in it, and i;ve been climbing in gt3 seats and caged 993's. price/value the lotus is nice, but pure track run porsche is the Right Hand of God.

    watt: If that pic is from your new ORR car you should look into replacing the foam on the rollbar with the newer and much denser stuff as it's supposed to provide much better protection.

    With the top off, it's a piece of cake. Step over the sill, place your hands on the sides of the seats while facing the steering wheel, and drop yourself into the car. With the top on is a little bit different. I like to go right foot in, left hand on hill, sit in the seat, left foot in, and finally head in.
