The only Volvo I would consider getting is the new XC90 T8 Twin Engine AWD Excellence but this Volvo costs over 125k EUR...insane!

Yes, it drives nice. The one I tried was all black and very stealth. Although I prefer the Smurfblue edition 
Powerful engine, awesome suspension and brakes. The gearbox felt a bit slow and the interior was standard Volvo in my eyes. Nothing special.
A cool alternative to an Audi S4 Avant or BMW 330 xdrive station wagon.
The new version gets a 4-cylinder. Even Volvo has to downsize I would get the 6-cylinder and it is on my shortlist for a more practical car

Ok so what is it you guys use a daily driver? Ever since I got rid of my M4, I've been left with a fleet of 2 seaters. My other half isn't impressed whenever I can't take both the kids with me in ANY of my cars. I was supposed to get a M2 but that has been delayed till next year as I want the LCI model.

Well, we are both past our best before date, SWMBO retired from a very high pressure job in the petro-chemical industry the end of last year; I plan to retire in three years. My daily commute is 80 miles a day round trip so I need a nice relaxing, comfortable and economical car. My V40 has a 190 bhp / 400nM torque diesel that has plenty of grunt for my needs. SWMBO needs a shopping trolley so she has a Honda Jazz. Fun and sun days we have the baby GTS.

Volvo have made huge strides from the "Armoured Personnel Carrier" days, thankfully. For what they are designed to do the range is pretty good nowadays. They look pretty elegant too (XC60 apart). A welcome change from the run of the mill and boring German offerings.....

Well, the XC90 is pretty crap to be honest - but at the time, my wife worked for them so it was difficult to turn down. It's nearly 5 years old now and has had a fair few niggles - but it's really versatile and although it's relatively knock free, it's refreshing not to really care about where it's parked or where it goes. I do quite like the new one, but I'd go for a RRS if I was in the market to replace it. (unless they repeat the 35% discounts again!)

We still have some self pride and are young , don't we 
I was at the auto show in Geneva with Bluelines, and the only stand he really wanted to visit , was Volvo. DaveGordon and myself could not take him seriously , but then he ' escaped' from us and ended up at Volvo . He lost it completely
