    Vanity license plate vote

    Soon, I'll have to choose a vanity plate for my Turbo. I wanted to get votes from you folks on which one I should get. I've already pretty much narrowed it down to either TORQUEY or RPMMMMS. 997TT was just thrown in because it was the most obvious and easy choice. XUSEME or CORNERZ could be fun to have.

    I think that I like "ATOMIC" and someone even suggested that I go with "TOMIC80" or "ATOM80" or "ATMIC80" but I like "ATOMIC" best.

    I would guess all of those above would cost you around Pounds10,000 to Pounds30,000 here in the UK

    I recall that vanity plates are a 'little' cheaper over in the US as they are allocated per state and so there is not such high demand for the same combinations.

    Out of curiously, roughly how much would 'ATOMIC' cost you?

    It would cost me around $35 USD to get "ATOMIC"...it's incredible to hear of the exorbitant cost to get vanity plates in the UK. Is it really that high?

    In the US it's a very simple handling charge to your particular state, which issues the plates, to give you a special one rather than the next sequential number. No extortion.

    Yea. I have a friend who has the tags "B8B8B8B8" in his M3 because they look so similar and he gets a LOT of flak from cops. It's just not worth it to have something that draws attention in a disruptive manner like that. Something clever/classy or indicative. 997TT is the only one there, but there are a slew of possibilities.

    A smart plate not-in-your-face I saw is OUTBRKU. It is quite meaningful as the most common P-car accident is being rear-ended.

    Jason, you might get arrested with ATOMIC I voted for 997TT. Already got my licence plate and its been in DMV waiting for my car and I went with TT 997. 997TT was taken in Calif
