    It's so 5 minutes ago...

    No seriously, despite the 996 being a great car, I believe it has lost it's 15 minutes of fame to (as you say) the 997 and the rest of the new kids on the block.

    It is kind of disapointing. I wish there were more 996 guys on here.

    Simple solution: buy a 997.
    Just kidding...but seriously: almost everything regarding the 996 has been said, so there isn't much left unless somebody has problems or questions. Sad but unfortunately this is how it is.

    Three nurses go into the morgue, and there's a dead man's body lying there, with an erection.

    The first nurse sees it, and says, "I'm gagging for it", gets atop the man and has her way with it.

    The second nurse says, "aye, so am I, shame to let it go to waste", and she does the same.

    They turn to the third nurse and ask her if she is having a go. She replies she is having her period, and declines. One of the nurses replies, "He's dead anyway, he'll no bother". The last nurse agrees with this, gets on and does her thing too.

    Just after she finishes, the dead man sits up. The nurses say to him , "We thought you were dead!".

    The man replies, "After two jump starts and a blood transfusion, you wouldn't be dead either!"

    Indeed, it appears most owners have moved on to the newest kid on the block. Maybe admins might want to merge the 996 and the 996 boards. I'm under the impression the 996 TT board is slightly more active.

    Still some 996 guys here. I consider rennteam a news forum (and one of the best at that) there is no more news about the 996 except for god forbid - recalls.

    If you have a technical question, rennlist is still quite active.
