    103 Thank you all for the nice posts. I thougt this travel might be something interesting for the rennteamers who collect in Zuffenhausen and want to travel a few days to brake their car in.

    Luzern is a beautiful old town at the historic center of Switzerland. The old wooden bridge is a must ! Here we go

    110 Do not forget to buy your wife a nice swiss watch at the numerous watchshops around the bridge (all best swiss brands). Wife like them, so it is psychologycally a good long term investment for the next porsche buy... .

    118 ...The historic little town of Rapperswil at lake Zürich. The hotel Schwanen is a must (amazing modern design furniture, excellent price/quality relation). Have a drink in the evening at the nice cafés in front of the port.

    Great pics you've posted - reminds me of my summer alpine tour when I used exactly the same roads - though with the top down. With the Targa you definitely have the edge during the winter time - you still can enjoy the wonderful alpine landscape in full panorama with your big sunroof, and have it warm and cozy in the driver's cabin at the same time - enjoy and keep the pics coming

    Carlos, looking forward to your write up, esp. the comment about the "911SL". I currently am driving a 05 SL500, and am very interested in the Targa for providing a nice transition into the Porsche world. Any noticeable performance hinderance, as compared to the normal 4s?

    On my next P-tour to beautiful Switzerland I'll be more than happy to invite you to some drinks as a compensation for the parking ticket - your beautiful pics are well worth it Can't get enough of pics showing a beautiful Porsche in this lovely landscape Please continue to post the pics when you go for the next spin in the mountains - P-cars in snowy mountains have something magical also And of course I'm very much looking forward to your sportscar vs. SL assessment - something inbetween the lines of your original post makes me believe that I know the result already

    My rims have never seen anything else then an ' hypromat'...I was refering to some other members of this board that ended up selling their sport rims as they got so worked out trying to have them clean perfectly after each drive...
    If you search on past topics on ' how to clean your P or how to clean your rims' you will see that it can become an art
