    Well, lets just agree to disagree. IMO, the SLR is a fantastic car, you may all think its a big disappointment but thats life.

    Some people think the Ford Focus is the best car in the world, to each his own.

    Very good question CF. Visually this car does very little for me, I like the wheels, and thats about it. The front bumper is actually quite ugly. If you want an SL65 why not just get an SL55 unless your just dying for exclusivity?

    Very good question CF. Visually this car does very little for me, I like the wheels, and thats about it. The front bumper is actually quite ugly. If you want an SL65 why not just get an SL55 unless your just dying for exclusivity?

    I like the SL65 AMG but for this price tag, I'd prefer a Gallardo, Murcielago or a Porsche GT2.
    It is actually the perfect speed limited country fun cruiser.
    Imagine driving down the french Riviera with the power of 1000 Nm. Wow. I like the SL65 (much more than the SLR) but I'd never buy it. I'd rather buy a Cayenne with 600 HP.

    True, but I've come to learn through watching various best motoring videos of lambos porsche and ferraris and even the odd SL55 one, that you CANNOT choose between these cars. They are unique in their own way, there are some people who fit like a glove to some paritcular cars, but I'm not like that, I pick a quality within each car that makes it special, and from my "research" each car is completely different. The ONLY thing these cars have in common is acceleration data...

    I could not choose between a GT2/Gallardo/Murcie/575/360/ they are each fantastically unique cars. I've come to appreciate that. From now on, you will never hear any comparison talk from me, I KNOW these cars must drive completely different, and thats why we have so much choice!

    Lets just say the kid wised up a little...


    As for the SL65, well I jsut wanna know how that baby sings...if its anything to go by its baby brother, then thats all that matters.
