    At this rate looks like the #2 will be on the same lap as the leading P2 car by the end of the race without considering pit stops or anything else... its going to be close but looks good.

    GTE Pro is very close fight!

    What a race! I love this scenario where the winning car overcomes a problem and manages to come back and win. Congrats to Porsche. The 919 is beginning to look less ugly to me blush

    What a race..I turned the race back on this morning East Coast US time just to see the #1 grind to a halt on track. The ensuing charge by the #2 was unbelievable racing by Bamber, Hartley and Timo  to secure this victory.  Brendo Hartley dug deep to give Timo the ability to the remaining laps. Well done Porsche!!!

    I am a Porsche fan and happy for there win! But when only 2 of the 7 LMP! cars finish there is something wrong with the present regulations. Imagine the LPM2 ended as the winner a 450.000 Euro normal 600hp 4 ltr car which wins over a 100-150 mlj euro team. (for the german readers see article in AMS). Perhaps this hybride technology gets too complicated. All in all I think this is a disgrace for Le Mans racing. I wonder how many cars will be at the LMP1 class next year?
