The titanium color on my car actually IS a little bit blueish and I wonder if Porsche changed the color tone. I actually like it very much but it looks a bit different than I remember from other titanium colored cars. The pictures show EXACTLY the color of my car but it was pretty cloudy that day and maybe it looks a bit darker.
To DEDAM: I didn't order painted wheel crests because there was a problem getting the wheel crests painted in black. Now I'm actually happy they're silver.

RC still wondering about the titanium color, which color did the Cayenne Turbo on the parking lot in Leipzig, you placed a picture of in the Leipzig report, have? It had a silver painted grille and looked like graphite or seal or titanium. It didn't have the blueish tone.

This can only be an optical illusion, caused by light conditions.
Just imagine the chaos it would cause with coordinating colors from different part suppliers and with the supply of painted spare parts if a car a manufacturer changed a color tone during the life of a model!

It seems that if the ambient light is pretty low (no sun, clouds, etc.), the titanium gets that "blueish" color note.
When the sun shines, it is really titanium without a blueish color note. We had around 30 minutes sun today and I washed my car and yes, no blueish color tone. Unfortunately the clouds came back...and the blueish tone too.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing. I definately think Titanium is the best colour, but I still can't get to grips with the way this thing looks -its mainly the front end, just looks like a cartoon caricature of a 996 (OK so I don't particularly like those either )
The fuel consumption issue also floors me a bit. Whilst in the scheme of costs it is a marginal extra cost against say my Range Rover which does 16.5 l/100km, for some reason that extra 10 km/100l blows me away.

You're a funny guy RC. Titanium still is the most distinctive standard color you could choose. Forum
