    GT3 - Colour poll

    As I cannot decide what colour suits the GT3 best, I call for some Rennteam Rescue.

    The options are not infinite! Here we go!

    Very hard decision. What about orange, or yellow?
    From this selection i would have to say white... no gt...no cobalt

    I chose GT-silver, in combination with black wheels, it looks stunning!

    I have ordered mine in Riviera Blue.I will paint the wheels black once the car arrives.Will also see if I can source an RS engine cover and rear spoiler.It will look similar to this.

    The second person today to post the colour 'Carrara' white (instead of Carrera). As such I am confused as to whether it is a typical spelling mistake for GT3 owners (as it's not written on the back of their cars like it is mine) or whether it is in fact Carrara?!

    Either way, having seen a white 997 GT3 in real life, all I can say is "wow"!!

    Alex, thanks for pointing that out, I was pretty sure, the colour was called "Carrara" (unlike the car ), you proved me wrong

    The UK site IS wrong. It is a spelling mistake. "Carrara white" is named after "Carrara marble" from Carrara in Italy.

    As for colour choice, I would choose non-metallic black or meteor grey. They look menacing on a GT3. The shape of the car is 'loud' enough, It really doesn't need a loud colour like bright orange...

    Never seen Riveria or Slate Blue offered. Are these paint to sample colors? Paint to sample isn't offered on Porsche USA web site build pages. ???
