    BTW, the audi has german plates so I think it's a commercail for the R8, nothing more.

    Very nice car...."diferent"...

    But, his price given, I'm waiting to see if it's performance is at the tag level. Maybe will surprises us, but I doubt...

    If it does, I'll be really happy, and seriously consider buying one.

    Don't forget that, according with Audi german page and equipped with the "reasonable" extras, it's price climbs up to 125.000 Euro....

    It has to be beyond the competence to be succesful. With only a bit more $$$, you can make a "jump" forward!

    But, anyway, lets wait until reliable tests come to the ligth.

    I must admit that this car is growing on me... however, given how stratospherically high the expectations seem to be on this car I don't know if it could do anything but disappoint. I think people are expecting Gallardo beating performance for base 997 prices. Pricing now looks to be higher than people hoped and I don't see how Audi would let R8 performance cannibalize potential Gallardo sales.

    The R8 probably will be a great performer but I don't think it will be at ground breaking levels like what the current Z06 is doing.
