Seen this car in southern California but the brakes did not look up to M spec -- maybe it is an early prototype. I have seen the E60 M5 many times out here for testing and it clearly has the brakes needed to haul the V10 M5 down from speed. Next time I come across the E60 M5 I hope to be driving my E55 and not my E500 and maybe then I will let you know how the E55 stacks up against the E60 M5!

The M5 looks just like the concept and it looks far better in person than in photos. Im starting to like it. And belive me...i can not believe I just typed that. Shows what seeing it 3 times a week can do to you!

that car looks like a 911 plus a trunk and the engine in the wrong place.

Whats important with a BMW is its drive, and I don't think ANYTHING from BMW M has ever been disappointing in that respect.

I'm seriously interested in the BMW M CSL specials, I heard that there will be an M5 CSL with some 550bhp, good car IMO.

Your opinion.
If I spent a lot of money for a car, I want more than pure performance. I have also to be fond of its design. Since I find the new BMW design anything but beautiful, I would never consider buying a M6, no matter how fast it is or how immaculate it drives.

There is one thing I notice about the 6 that a lot of other cars in it's class don't have and that is massive presence. No, not because of the cars buttox, the overall design.

Yeah, massively ugly presence

Can you tell I don't care for Bungle's designs? However, I do appreciate the new BMWs technically
