    SHE, Who must be obeyed, has spoken

    Just got back from the local Porsche dealer with my wife, otherwise known as She Who Must Be Obeyed, and my Cobalt Blue, Sea Blue Std Leather C4S, has turned into a Carmon Red with Full Natural Leather C4S!
    I am 3rd on the list for a C4S from my dealers allocation, could be spring of 07 or so?
    Dealer nicely allowed us to take a C4 out alone and she of course succombed to that old Porsche magic and after some tactful acquiescence on my part, the deal was sealed!
    Will keep you posted on future developments.

    Yes, it does seem to be an awfully common name.

    Yes. I think she chose Carmon Red, because it reminded her of the Chateau Thames Embankment I'm so fond of...

    Okay, the way I look at it is if you don't HATE Carmon red then it's fine. I'd prefer cobalt over carmon. If the sea blue is that light blue avail. only in Europe then I'd venture to say, in "exchange" you got a nicer color interior.

    IMHO.

    i've always found that if i could talk, my non-car person wife into a car deal, the color she picked was fine with me. the added benefit for you in this deal is that the red she picked looks great. congrats

    No one will be crying over your compromise ... let's see, I have to suffer with a C4S. Oh, by the way, it has natural leather. AND it's red.

    She who must be obeyed? Come on guys, what happens when we get married? We all just roll over? I've been married two years so far and I love it. However, my cars are my decision. She can have whatever color of whatever brand she wants. If I'm driving it, it's going to be a black 911. End of story, no discussion. :-D

    BTW, nice color. My old Boxster S was Arena Red which was replaced by Carmon Red if my memory is correct
