Very true. It is supposed to be as fast as the Enzo up to its top speed, but it seems that it is left wanting by at least 8 seconds...

Not one Carrera GT reached the claimed 10s for 0-200 in a magazine test (at least I cannot recall any such test result)... And the 0-300 AMS test figure was approximately 6s slower than in the above chart

You be happy to know considering the 0-200 km/h time that 10.2 seconds was achieved by Sport Auto.

Still, that worse than Porsche claims. They used to be conservative with their numbers and all their cars achieved results at least as good as the factory numbers, even under the worst of conditions. Nowadays, Porsche's flagship supercar is slower than what the factory claims and has been in EVERY SINGLE test performed by car magazines. Not once has it dipped under 10 seconds, even though, historically, you'd expect it to get 9,5 seconds to 200 km/h. And instead of 26 seconds to 300 km/h, which is what Porsche claims, it needs over 34 seconds to do it.
As for the guy saying he doesn't trust AMS over Porsche, that's like saying you trust the regime in Sudan more than you do the UN observers.

Be comforted in knowing that you can count on one hand the number of production cars which will outperform the CGT. It is a very fast car but like all others time and technology will take its toll. There will always be something faster.
