I know you did not ask me, but I'll give my response anyway.
In the U.S., a surprising amount of Elise and Exige owners use their cars every day. It's definitely possible, but it depends on what you are willing to go through and what your daily driving entails. The average Porsche would probably not be able to do it.
The Exige suffers from a lack of rear visibility (especially the S verison), so you must learn to rely on the side mirrors for the most part. You also have an ingress/egress that many are unwilling to put up with. I found it easy after a few weeks and now it feels like putting the car on, isntead of sitting in it.
For hot weather, the A/C certainly doesn't blow as hard or as you might expect. Combined with the aluminum tub and hardtop, it can get a bit hot in the cockpit.
Luggage space isn't much, but it depends on how much you carry regularly.
Ride quality is surprisingly good over small bumps. Lotus road cars have good compliance, but under really heavy bumps, the ride feels choppy. Combined with the small wheelbase, the car actually feels a bit choppy over certain pavement.
In a multiple car collision, especially from the side, I'm not sure how well the car will fare, due to how low it is, and the lack of side airbags. However, in single car collisions/roll-overs, etc, the car does very well. The fiberglass body and crash structures absorb a lot of energy.
Some listen to music if they have a quiet exhaust, but I have rarely used the stereo in mine.
But still, on the right road, I'm not sure you will have more fun in any other car in its class.

The Exige has the better sound!!!
When I go on the track with my brother and his Exige, when driving people stare more at his car than any other P !!! Because the sound is so impressive
