Black vs clear headlights ?
Why do so few people choose (standard) clear headlights? Most of the photos I've seen (and not just GT3's) are with black headlights: black PDLS or black LED.
I personnally don't like the look of the big round halo circle of the LED headlights, that's why I will probably choose Bi-Xenon. I like the 4 LED dots more when they're closer together. I won't be driving the GT3 much during the night, so I really don't bother with lumen output. Also I think I've read that LED only has better performance with the Low-Beams and that the High-Beams perform almost equally good.
I've noticed that the standard headlight unit has the lower part of the housing in black since the 991.2. It was all silver before. Now it's a little bit contrasty.
). I think the latter will pop more as it's a cooler hue. The non-metallic white is the traditionnal motorsport white, which is tempting because of that. The CUP car for instance is in plain white with clear standard headlights and I think that works pretty well, even with silver wheels.
What paint did you go for in the end ?
