However, there is also a Stamp Duty that is applicable looking at the Oz dealers sites, approximately A$ 6,000 or so and I didn't include the Park Assist which is included in the new M3 for AUD 160,000
So, the basic car might only be A$148,500 but when you add a few options that bring it on par the M3 the price starts to get quite high.
I would rather have a naked Porsche than a tarted up M3 - but thats me!
Also, notice the below links, even the used Cayman S' with about 7,000 - 9,000 Km and only one or two options are going for A$150,000 PLUS the stamp duty.
