98 RON Fuel vs. 95 RON?
Does anyone have a definitive answer on if any harm can be done using cheaper 95 RON fuel in 987 with the new 245bhp unit?
The manual states 98 RON but then mentions the engine will "adapt" to 95 RON.
I've only had the car three weeks and so far the comfort factor has had me using V-Power (might still be called Optimax in other countries).
For normal road driving am I likely to notice any significant difference or (importantly) do any damage/increase engine wear by using the cheaper 95 RON fuel (still tend to stick to Shell rather than the Supermarket stuff).
I'm not sure if there is a black and white answer but I'd appreciate any info/opinons etc.
cheers,
Paul
