    I couldn't resist - titanium

    I should get my GT3 end of may, and already ... I ordered some exotic parts, from a french company named RS :
    - a sport full titanium exhaust
    - a rear roll-over cage in titanium.
    The weight saving should be 50% according to the manufacturer. Let's see.
    Once I get them, I'll post pictures.

    Sorry whats the company name? do you have a oic from
    this exhaust?

    company name is RS ...
    they didn't let me take a picture yet, since they are making parts for F1 and MotoGP, and the part was in the workshop area.
    But it looks like the Europipe product, and grey color like titanium. And it weights really nothing.
    Once I get the parts, and they are mounted, I will dyno it, and post some pictures. What made me decide is the excellent and impressive quality of the weldings, the weight, the price (similar to what you should pay for the stainless steel one) and also that they need at least one month to produce it, or let's say, to deliver.

    The car was in production last week.
    They will deliver the car here by the end of the month.
    Once I get it, I'll bring it to RS Product. They need 2 days for doing the job.
    I hope mid/end of may, the car will be equiped with the new exhaust. I will post some pictures, and the dyno test.
    As far as I know, the full standard exhaust is about 50 kg ...
    I hope to save half of it with the titanium. The exhaust will be equiped with 100 cell cats. But for sure, I don't want a loudy system.

    I'll pick my new baby tomorrow at Brussels.
    When I feel ok to drive 2000 km, I go near Lyon where RS is located.
    I will first start with the rollover cage, the easiest thing I guess.
