    997TT Targa Version?

    With all the models available, will Porsche bring back the Turbo Targa? If Yes, I am in. Especially if you can finally get DSG. Is this a possibility?

    Don't dream .... a Targa TT WILL NOT come.

    It wouldn't make any sense for Porsche to develop another variant of a car that they hope to make just slightly over 5,000 units over its life time...

    Just to give you an order of magnitude, Porsche will make over 6,000 997 TT coupe this year.

    I actually feel that it is very easy for Porsche to build a 997TTT as the Targa already comes in the wide body 4S form.

    The 997GT2 will sell even less but Porsche is building it.

    Porsche did build 4 964 Turbo convertibles, 20 964 Speedsters Turbo-Look, 2 993 Speedsters, and even 14 993 convertibles with a 964 Turbo engine inside. If you pay enough, they will build it.
    As TargaTim said, it's just about swapping the right parts. PASM would need new settings, though.

    Unfortunately, I suspect it'd be cheaper to buy a stock Turbo and a stock Targa than to get a single Turbo Targa.
