    Yesterday I've finally the car from the workshop as I was on a business trip to Sydney for two days.

    Only one tire needed to be exchanged, all other tires are still very good as new tires had been mounted prior to my pick up from the Merc dealer two weeks ago!

    So I'll stick with the Dunlop's until they're gone and by then will be switching to Michelin 4S.

    Thanks everybody for your support and input, alignment and rim had been checked as well.

    Unfortunately the passengers door has been scratched a little bit, but that will be solved soon...

    Good to hear!

    Scratching the car in the workshop happens over and over again. I had the problem at the Jeep Dealer. He killed the rim. When I picked up the car I told him that and he countered - "yes we did see that and I immedetately made a picture when you brought the car in this morning". Obviously he lied, probably killed the rim and made a picture of it. But hard to proof.

    I'll be there on Friday next week and they'll check on that but they agreed already to cover costs!

    BTW, I just found a company which could retrofit me the AMG performance exhaust (PAGA) eventhough Merc told me it's not possible as they'd need a different engine control unit and it could be solved with a switchable remote...

    Now I just need to find out somehow the different part numbers of the PAGA, maybe I just need the silencer (Endtopf?).

    Have you actually contacted AMG in Affalterbach directly to ask if a retrofit is possible? Sometimes, they can do stuff (especially retrofit of original parts) the regular Mercedes dealers cannot do. I would go this route before I would risk my warranty.

    Meanwhile my request has been reverted directly to AMG Affalterbach, I should get an answer soon!

    I still hope it's doable for an reasonable amount as the sound of the PAGA is way better when normal driving (95% of time), pushing the car hard it sounds the same with the standard sportexhaust.

    Still thinking if I should go for the Brabus tuning or Racechip/ DTE

    A bit off topic: "Met" a GLC with A-SP (Mercedes mules often have the A license plate) license plate here in Italy and the car looked like the GLC 63 AMG but without the front grille. At first I thought it is the GLC 43 until the driver started the engine. V8. What a sound! Can't wait to take one for a spin once available at dealers. He also passed us on the Autostrada and my son took a photo but the sound when he passed us...WOW. I hope this is the final sound.
