Owning a 997tt and a GT3, good idea?
My father jsut got a 996 GT3 but he seems to be still set on getting a 997tt something I think he shouldn't do right now but what can I do but try to convince him.
Question: Is it a good idea to have both these cars?
Two issue I have with it: Are they different enough as to offer a unique driving experience when you get in each, or is owning 2 911's at once when you could own 1 911 and something else silly. I've always had the philosophy that if you could own two cars you should rather own two that are more different so each time you get in the car its not like being in the other one. I would prefer him to keep the 996 GT3 and then see what options there are within the next year whether it be the V10 R8 Audi, Lotus Esprit or some other options.
The other issue is is the turbo still the best in class, thats opinion obviously but i'd like to know what you think about it.
