    Merry RSmas!

    Just got a call from my dealer today, I wil be getting my RS in December. Man, this is definitely going to be the coolest Christmas in my life!
    Will keep you posted how the sport tires will do in the snow, gonna be a great fun zero grip drive ...

    P.S.: It's orange with PCCB and PCM.

    you're paying 997TT money for your car... will you be tracking it? was that the basis of your decision?

    sorry if I sound harsh.. I simply hate to hear comments about price? if you want it buy it. I have to say the price on the 997 RS is OK as they are most (if not all ) already spoken for? IMHO the turbo is simply a fast heavy pig. hahha

    Wow, I do agree that a lot of people feel if one spends 110+ on a car they have to get a Turbo. If I was buying now I would get a 997S Cab with X51. Yes I know close to a Turbo but you just can't replace the drop top.

    The turbo is not even CLOSE to the best car Porsche makes (and I am not referring to the CGT or GT2). A boxster is more fun, IMO (and yes, I owned a 996TT and a boxster). Now the GT3 RS...THAT makes my motor run. Go man go!

    I think the 997tt and the GT3/RS are very different animals. Even though I have only driven a 996tt but not the 997 yet.

    While the tt is the perfect Gran Tourismo, well defined, powerful but still safe and comfortable the GT3/RS is more of a toy. It gives you an entirely different experience. It is harsh, loud, requires much more attention but then again gives you great fun, particularly on the track. So I was looking for a purely toy car, that's why I think the RS is better for me than the tt.

    I agree! Although I was simply stunned by the RS I saw at the Paris motorshow, one thing didn't please me, the orange doesn't match the yellow callipers!

    Excellent choice by the way! There's no car I'd rather have
