    Lamborghini Houston - Grand Opening

    Last night I was invited to Lamborghini of Houston for its grand opening. It was a lot of fun, I mean lots of fun. They had the unveiling of LP640 and I happened to talk to THE man (picture). Real nice guy we talked about the upcoming Gallardo face lift of course he denied it completely (no surprise there ;-) ) but talked a bit about Audi and their R8 he seemed very excited about it but at the same time he kept saying, with his Italian accent, but it is no Lamborghini :-).

    The new facility is the state of the art dealership, very nice inside.

    Anyway here some bad quality pictures that I took with my cell phone.

    You forgot to post the picture with Stephan Winkelmann and yourself. Didn't he mention something about Rennteam?

    Just in case people don't know who this guy on the picture is: he is the Lamborghini boss, THE boss.

    Great stuff, Ron...I'm sure you enjoyed the evening a lot (and the aftermath... ).

    BTW: the LP640 is an incredible machine, a bit too heavy for my taste but I would get it immediately if I had the money.

    Not 100% sure, but it sure does look like it
    You made the correct choice regarding colour no doubt buddy.
    The LP640 looks best in grey and yellow

    Yes those are the Hermera wheels, I will have them on my car.

    The car in the Topgear article looks almost exactly like mine

    Wish i could afford one of those, but then again if i could I'd probably get a 911 Turbo S(when it comes out) and a GT3RS instead.

    He has done a hell of a job with the Lamborghini brand. The cars they are producing are pure sex. Certainly they have captured my attention.

    BTW, if I purchased a lambo there is only one color and it is the fabulous Orange color. Simply amazing color on the car.

    I have seen pics of some exotic dealership in houston with a modern look to it located on some busy plaza. Is this lambo dealer part of it or seperate?

    Not only are the cars nice but i like the architecture of some dealerships. Texas also has this awesome am dealership;

    From out side it doesn't look that great but you need to step in; it looks (Architecturally) first class by all means.

    Regarding your AM pix. Houston will have the biggest AM dealership pretty soon in the world, we beat Dallas .

    I don't know about the grand opening date but the new dealership is being constructed (almost finished) next to the old AM one on OLD Katy Rd. Across from Land Rover.
