I enjoyed reading your comments about this car.
2-tone interior does match very well with meteor and the darker color of wheels. Plus This color is very stealth - not flashy - Another thing with meteor is that when the car car is dirty it barely changes the color so up-keep is not that hard, however it is not excuse to not wash it!
Comments regarding radar, I know I have to be carefull with them because nowdays in france they are not joking about speeding, but I will definitely carefull, in order to be able to keep my liscense to drive this awesome machine.
By the way, my odo indicates 300km and apart to get used to PASM suspension I can just praise the car. This morning I went for a ride on the highway and wow
the torque in 6th gear in stunning - i pushed up to 200km/h so easily. Overtaking takes the time of a blink of an eye - so fun.
I'm so glad I chose the turbo over a C2S X51 like I wanted before because I love the feel of the trust/torque that provide this engine - so enjoyable.
Did drive B-roads and pushing not too hard the car and the speedo was reading 140km/h then time to back off on the throttle because didn't want to brake too hard for the next turn, so fun to let the engine "speak".
Comment concerning as the one who think that this car can be compared to M-B oh boy there are IMO so wrong. 997TT feel much lighter, much more stable, responsive, reassuring. Brakes, steering, gear box are so much more precise. This car gives confidence wheter you are on the highway cruising, or attacking on a B-road. Where as A M-B feels a lot heavier and less reassuring on B-road. M-B car feels much more filtered concerning road noise and different surfaces one can uncounter.
The direction is really razor sharp, same for the brakes and steering - what a pleasure - Brakes does not squeak what so ever, even in city driving.
