    Ordered 2007 base version of the Cayman

    Just ordered a 2007 Cayman! Red/Black. It will be here in 2 to 3 months.. Can't wait! After finally seeing/driving the Z4 Coupe and comparing the two..the clear winner for me was the Cayman. The BWM was not going to be discounted and my 2007 cayman was discounted a few grand. So the price difference was not $9k but more like $5.5k.

    Despite the price premium over the Boxster, I would be very tempted to go for a base Cayman too, and in fact I might do that in a year or two.

    I saw another Cayman S in person on Saturday and it is a really beautiful car.

    congrats I believe you made the right choice. The cayman will is more focused and will give you more satisfaction!

    Hi Caymanjeff,
    What did you not liek about the Z4? I am considering the same two cars, and i loved the cayman s and am looking to drive the Z4 soon.

    hi...well i do not like the front end on the Z4. Ive owned 2 bmws... and the Z4 is simply not a PORSCHE.

    Well Here it is... And its Amazing...Base Cayman or not.. WoW what a car... Fast, Gorgeous, Perfect Handling, and Sexy as hell...You guys didnt tell me how many looks I would be getting ... lol

    That is a beautiful car... The stock 17" wheels look quite good, especially with the painted crest. What options did you go for?
