    Ferrari featured in Gran Tourismo HD for PS3

    Good news for those (like me) who have a PS3 on order, both the 599 GTB and the F430 will be featured in the PS3 HD version of Gran Tourismo

    I have a Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector with a 90" screen and a raceseat from playseats.com (and of course force feedback wheel and 7.1 surround), so this should be about as close as I can get to the real thing (from my mediaroom ):

    Well, that's a Carrozzeria Scaglietti option and doesn't come as standard.

    The car shown above didn't have it.

    Temm, how realistic is Gran Turismo in comparison to GTR for PC? I found the GTR to be massively enjoyable, due to its realism, so what about GT?

    Nothing compares to GTR
    Gran Tourismo does not even come close IMO. And I doubt that the PS3 version will change that apart from better graphics.

    GTR is the most realistic simulator I have ever played (my simulator career started with the IFR Flight Simulator for VIC-20 back in the days...), especially when it comes to sound and the "feeling" of being in a real car.

    Have you tried GTR2 yet? I only have the demo....yet.

    No, haven't tried the "2", as I haven't even mastered "1" yet . I'll be upgrading my machine and will probably be buying a new wheel (that new Logitech thingie with the clutch pedal looks tempting) soon, so until then, I'm quite content with the "1". I wonder how all that acquired skill would translate to the Ring .

    i just got my gtr2 today! and still don have a chance to test drive it! and i think directx 10 graphic r far better then ps3

    But the screenshots at the official site says Eiger. So it looks like the road is in the Jungfrau region in Switzerland.

    Temm,

    I'm been to Interlachen as well! I went hiking on the Eiger Glacier. VERY nice!

    Excited about PS3 also! FINALLY they have Ferrari. I wonder if they'll get Porsche as well (Ruf wasn't so bad though).
