Hi ResB, sorry I don't have better pictures yet, these are a bit dark since they are taken inside a garage, but you get the idea.
I had the installed fit a aluminum piece to the top of the rear bumper hole, with the shape of the laser sensor head's shape cut out and fitted the head there, that way it hides it a bit and looks part of the car. You can see that black laser head (the transponder) in the centre above the rear plate, and the piece extending in a lighter black to the sides.
The front head fits very easily beneath the front plate. And the buzzer, LED, mute, and switch were installed inside the ashtray with a custom cut plastic piece serving as a suport, and the buzzer fitted inside the whole for the cigarrete.
Tested it against the laser guns they use here in Spain (LTI Marksman and Ultralytes) and I'm completely stealth
(mind you that my car is black and the 911 is small with little perpendicular surfaces, so its an easier car to cloak from laser. In a larger car with lighter paint colors you may need two heads for each side. And if you are in UK were they only target you form the fornt, they you can place both heads on the front and forget the back)

Carlos, thanks for the reply. I must have missed the post when you first got it fitted. Do you have to drill the front bumper to get the wire thorough or is there a gap already. I have to say I never thought about the tray in the centre either to hide the buzzer etc, great idea. 
With the custom plates etc I presume you fitted it yourself. How long did it take for just the front only. I don't think I'm going to do the rear that looks like a big job. I'm weary about getting some joker to fit this as it's likely they have never done a Pro Park before and I never feel they treat the car as if it were their own.

Thanks for the pics. What does it feel like to be able to fly under the radar like a B-2 Stealth bomber.?

I didn't do the install, I have an installer here who is a decorated high-end stereo installer, he has won many car audio competitions and is now a judge of competitions. He is very good with his hands and he is the only one that does installs (stereo or otherwise) in my cars since many years. But the install isnt difficult, and its no different than any other jammer so if the installer has experience with fitting other jammers the it should be OK.
You don't need to fit heads in the read since in UK the laser-vans tend to shoot only at the front, so my recomendation is to fit TWO heads in the front.
I haven't checked if the cable goes through a hole or there need to be one drilled, but since its under the plate it should make much difference. The cable probably goes thorugh one of the holes in the bumper that are behind the front plate.
BTW, I haven't actually posted about this yet so thats why you didn't see it.

No jammer is 100% effective 100% of the time but what I say is that its the most effective jammer I have ever tested, and I have tested the Blinder M40, Lidatek LE-30, Escort ZR-3 (a.k.a Bel Laer Pro), Target LT400, Target LCR100, and Target LE850.
Also another thing I like very much about it is that its also works as a parking sensor and its sold as such (not a very good parking sensor mind you, but its good enough to serve as an excuse), so in countries were laser jammers are ilegal, it can be usefull.
If you are looking for an installer I would suggest you look into high end car audio installers , they have a lot of experience in installing electronics and for them a jammer should be a breeze

Is the latest Laser Pro Park the same as the AL G8 or a version behind (my understanding is that LPP sources from AL). I understand these are illegal in Spain and the LPP provides more "parking" assist credibility, but in places where they are not illegal, would you get the AL instead?
Also - what of the comments on another board that the AL G8 doesn't work with a particular version of the LTI Ultralyte (100pps I believe)? Any truth there?

I am working on fit issues right now for my Valentine V1 remote inside the ashtray. That way I can flip the lid open and mute the signal without taking my hand too far away from the gearknob. But, the V1 remote has to be down sized about 1 mm in height (and that's what belt sanders are for!).

Hi AV,
No, they are not the same, the hardware is the same but the software isn't. LPP used source from AL but actually it was a two way street from what I know, LPP also colaborated on the development. Anyway, it seems they have split now, so they will follow different roads in terms of further development of hardware and software.
Personally I trust LLP team from England more than the AL Team from Croatia, they also seem to have more reswources. So I would go with LPP from now on.
The issue with the rare 100 pulse per second LTI Ultralite version I would think only affects the G8 since the software is different. I don't know if its true that it does not detect it, but I know the G8 carries a different software in which they tuneed it so as not to give jamming codes on the Stalker gun, but when you teak the software one way it has sometimes unpredictable results on other guns in turn, this is what may have happened to the G8. I know that the LTI guns are a priority for the LPP team since its such a frecuent gun used in Europe, including Spain and UK, so this is important for me.

Okay, it arrived yesterday, so I need to get it installed. I really like the installation in the ashtray idea. Would never have thought of that. Carlos, do you have the part number for it and would it be too much to ask if you could take a picture of the front diffuser from the side as I can't seem to get the full picture (no pun intended) the pic you posted from underneath.

Will do, those pics I posted are very bad pictures anyway as there was little lighting. But just so you get the idea, the front head is placed underneath the center of the front licence plate, flush with the plate so it doesn't stick out. But in your case I believe you are putting two heads on the front, since you don't need to protect the rear? if so, then you need to place the two heads evenly apart. I'd say somewere in between the front headlights and the licence plate on both sides. The reason is that these two are the mst refelctive surfaces on the front of a car.

Yes we are becoming depressing state controlled here, the next revenue raiser (sorry I mean device to improve traffic flow
) is to have cameras on "box" junctions to trap drivers that inadvertently block them. They are already there in bus lanes etc etc.
All this while there are less police patrols to catch real offenders such as tailgaters, overtakers on the inside, van drivers that deliberatly and dangerously cut-up other drivers, driving in poor visibility with no lights et al.

The Lidatek is just like the Laser Pro Park, both have bvery small gallidum-arsenide based diode transponders, except that the LPP is more efective and its sold as a parking sensor which may help you if they try to fine you for having a jammer, while the Lidatek is sold as a laser jammer right out.
The Lidatek shuts down after 5 seconds of detecting the laser gun giving you time to slow down before the LEO can read your speed, the LPP shuts down as well but after 8 seconds. Personally I find that either of those times are too long, and I rather shut it down manually once I'm at regular speed which should take no more than 2-3 seconds if you tnik about it.
Though most of the times you won't even need to, reason being that in UK and Spain they use photo-LIDAR guns which take your picture at the same time that they clock your speed. This means that they need to aim at you when you are within the camera's picture range, and this is usually less than 450 feet. So this means that befor the 5 seconds ar up after they have shot at you, you would have alerady passed by the laser gun and left it behind. In US they don't use photo-lidar so the LEO can shoot you from as far as 3000 feet away depending on the gun model. This means that more than 5 seconds go by before you leave the laser gun behind.

But is you are in the UK I would fit the two heads on the fornt for extra security. In this case they would have to be evenly separated on both sides to cover the headlight and licence plates. Here is a pic showing the two posible placements on the lf side in this case. The rt head would be on the otehr side symetrically.
