Swiss 997tt caught on fire (correction: 996tt)
Anybody know what happened here? Looks like a Swiss 997tt was driving 310kph on the autobahn and caught on fire last night.

If you look closely you'll notice that the tailights are above the rear fender line and that this turbo is actually a modded 996 tt. Interesting but I can't read swiss.
Could it be because Swiss don't actually have a language of their own

Ja, ja, aber sie sprechen Deutsch und Englisch.

Just kidding Actually, we have at least about 26 own languages which no outsider can understand. And German is our first foreign language.

What about French and Italian? Are they also mangled?
I can only comment on the French. A very slight accent a few expressions and appart from that it is 99% "FRENCH".
(French Canadian would be 60% ! )

I'm afraid this isn't quite right. German is one of three official state languages, not a foreign language.
I'm afraid that this is also not right. The Swiss actually have 4 offficial state languages

My standard 996 turbo caught fire whilst it was sat in my garage 2 years ago.I had come back from work and the car had been sat for about 20 minutes in the garage when my wife smelt smoke,I went down to see and the whole engine was on fire.It nearly blew up the house and kids .
Porsche definitely had a problem,I know of at least 2 others who it happened to as well.
