High-speed accelaration data of Gallardo
The data has not been compiled using GPS equipment. However, I made proper adjustments (stop watch based) and believe that the data is fairly reliable.
0-200: 13s (based on magazine tests)
0-210: 14s
0-220: 15s
0-230: 16.5s
0-240: 18
0-250: 20
0-260: 22
0-270: 24.5
0-280: 27
0-290: 33
Thus, 200-290 (real kph) is around 20s. This compares to around 21-22s in case of the 997TTS. Obviously, the 997TT gains almost a second in the 0-200kph range.
In summary, the above data (in combination with earlier tests of the 997TT on rennteam.com) confirms that the Gallardo and the 997TT have a nearly identical high-speed performance
BTW: I liked the Gallardo a lot! Nice atmosphere (exterior and interior), aggressive sound, heavy but precise steering, fairly comfortable and yet well-defined suspension setup, solid brakes. A very nice package indeed
