    Designing new 997 turbo- please help

    Black / black
    sport seats
    sport chrono
    yellow tach
    yellow calipers / (to be done by dealer)
    tubi exhaust (will be available next month)
    carbon package
    thicker steering wheel
    yellow trim on carpets
    Any suggestions / comments?
    Help would be appreciated

    Tubi exhaust is an available option from the factory? Or aftermarket?

    If you're doing the yellow thing, consider all deviated stitching on full leather, yellow stitching.

    Yellow Belts too, but they will look dirty in a week.

    historically great sounding
    check out scuderia uk on-line
    good video clips of tubi sounds with various porsche models

    I know tubi quite well, just the way you listed it looked like you expected it to be a factory option from Porsche.

    i like their tuning
    alot of people talk about the fabspeed though.
    any thoughts?

    This is the Fabspeed bypass system. Great sound IMO.
    Also, I'd get the adaptive sport seats if I were you.

    Eric, doesn't full yellow stitching look a bit busy in the 997TT?

    Adaptives, lsd, sport chrono, and add a sport shifter later. Which dealer are you using?
    At roslyn porsche they have a new(?)black 997TT pretty well optioned, check it out.
    Fabspeed for me.

    Sounds nice. Any suggestions? Take the money you're going to spend on painting the calipers yellow & buying the exhaust and get PCCB's instead. You can always add the exhaust at a later date, can't add the PCCB's w/out spending a fortune. Down the road you'll thank me & the yellow that you're using to tie the car together nicely will be the real deal.

    You might want to consider the park assist. BTW I'm glad to see I'm not the only one popping for the fancy floor mats.

    Eight thousand dollars seems like a lot to brake faster on a non track car. I hear replacing the brakes is also equally expensive

    I would definitely recommend getting the LSD over the PCCB if price was a factor. You do notice the LSD working even while driving moderately especially in the corners. Feels more "planted."
