GoHardGT3RS:
I had confirmation this week that Lamborghini is not able to offer any solutions to fit a 4 or 6-point harness in the Performante .
How can Lamborghini develop a track-focused car with a claim about the record lsptime on the Ring and not offer such an important and must-have safety feature for trackdays?!?
This proves to me that Lamborghini is not a credible track car manufacturer. Every GT model from Porsche offers the possibility of a clubsport pack with 6-point harness.
Really disappointing from such a great car with certainly one of the best engines of the moment.
wanted this car but I will stay with Porsche.
While I agree that this is weird, I kind of have my doubts that many Performante will see a track often.
Over time, Lamborghini might offer a solution though.
Yes, the engine is a treat. Just literally killed a Jaguar F-Type SVR last weekend on the Autobahn. Up to a point where the driver (he is a friend of one of my driving buddies) actually believed I tuned my car. The 7000-8500 rpm range made all the performance difference, was quite amazing. I have to admit however that the F-Type SVR sounds very sweet at full throttle.
