    Arosa Classic Car Race

    Last weekend was the second edition of the Arosa Classic. A race up the mountain to Arosa (in the Swiss Alps). As last year, there were some true beauties to be seen.

    Oh btw just in case you're wondering, yes, there were other makes and models as well, but they were not nearly as interessing and nice

    I passed an old Toyota Supra and some others driving back when I returne from Lake Como. Guess the nice ones travel by trailer.

    On photo #5, is that driver unusually large? Somehow the driver seems out of proportion to the car.

    Right!, tall is more to the point isn't it ; a good 6"/15cm taller (sitting!) than the driver in photo #6, who seems about average.

    Can't remember having seen any Asian products on the starting list. The majority were Porsches, Maseratis and Mercedes and some old English metal. Oh, and some other Italian make, the name of which has slipped my mind

    No, not at all. The car, a 550 Spyder, (one of my all time favorite btw) is so small. Could be that the helmet over-emphasizes the head of driver on the picture.

    Here are more shots of the car. The car had the same "stripes" as James Dean's!

    I think, that is a 550 prototype! look at the hood and the headlights!

    I believe it was silver, but unlike the one above, with red stripes.
