    I think natural grey works far better with slate grey than stone grey.

    Black also works well. It's basically a very very dark matt grey rather than jet black.

    Natural grey is very nice but almost black and hot in summer. About the best pictures of slate that I've seen. Thank you for your posts. Is it the price that keeps slate grey relatively rare? Was it ever a regular metallic color?

    Momentum Porsche in Houston had this very combo (slate grey with cocoa interior) about six months back, and it looked FAN. TAS. TIC. It sounds weird on paper, but in the flesh, it is amazing. Very elegant and surprisingly understated.

    I own a Carrara white with a full leather cocoa brown interior. Personally I would hesitate pairing it with slate grey as the two colors derive from very different primary colors. Since you are working with a dealer, take the large leather sample and hold it up against the exterior of several Porsche to find the color conbination that looks the best to you.

    I'm sure slate grey and cocoa will look good together. I haven't seen a slate grey in person but I did see cocoa interior. Cocoa interior looks crummy in photographs compared to the real thing; just something weird about the color and how it translates photographically. From the photos of the slate and the personal experience of cocoa I'd say it's a good combination that you won't at all be disappointed with if you had a predilection to order it.

    Was that dark olive/cocoa cab pic taken at the East London OPC? I saw that car if it was and thought it looked awful. They get some interesting colour combinations in there - must be people from Docklands trying to have something a little bit different to the norm to make a style statement. I've seen some nice cars there and a few that are a bit OTT IMHO

    Yup, dark olive green with cocoa was at OPC East London. No disrespect guys, but it was so ugly in real life.

    Easy,

    Stick with your present combo: Arctic and Cocoa!
    I love the contrast and you need a brighter color for the UK, IMO. Slate is great looking but your present combo will be gorgeous! That's the combo I would order if I was getting a coupe.

    I saw a slate grey cab with natural grey interior and it looked beautiful. Natural Grey is a gorgeous interior which you don't see much because (along with natural leather brown) it costs more than all other full leather interiors. To me, natural grey is more handsome than straight black and easier on the eye. Other high end cars have similar-toned interiors which they may call "anthracite" or something like that, not straight black, but more like charcoal. The carpets on the natural grey interior are especially nice. A warm, softer tone than black.

    I recommend Atlas and Cocoa. OK, it's what I have on mine, but no regrets. At all.

    Slate may not be dark enough to go with the brown of the cocoa and, as it has no blue, may clash a bit. Suggest you think about it in terms of colours of suits you would wear with (quite dark) brown shoes.

    Dark/navy blue, yes, black yes. Light grey? Maybe, but not sure.

    One thing is clear though:

    Metallic Green? No!

    But you'll have a great car whatever you choose. All the best with it.

    I am waiting for my C4S Cab to be delivered next week. I ordered it with Dark Olive Metallic, Cocoa interior and Cocoa roof. Mithras and MHakkinen, I hope you are both right about the combination. I have been debating with myself ever since I ordered the car 3 months ago.

    i picked up my Cayman S in Slate/Cocoa couple of weeks ago. Havent done any beauty shots, but have some pics from the pick up. will post them today...combo works very well, one of a kind and very classy.

    okay, here are the promissed fotos. While its a Cayman S, you get the idea. i had a really hard time finding any fotos of porsche with Slate/cocoa, so had to order pretty blind. love it.
