J. Thanks for the support! But we'll see...
here's the link to the testing done by Sport und Auto, RS Tuning car was the only one in the test with stock K16's all others were on K24's or hybrids still it does the 0-200 sprint in 12,5secs though.

GT hi,
The thing is, its an M6 which considerably lighter (carbon roof, carbon bumper reinforcent, etc).
Here's a link to an inflated discussion on a Porsche forum involving an M5board administrator with some pretty videos.

P.S. TO EVERYONE: Come on you guys, this is the most friendly, educated, non-ricer Porsche forum and the 996 Turbo sub-forum as no activity whatsoever for days, please make an input!!!

Sorry to say Kiko, but if you want some good threads about your car you'll have to go to Rennlist or 6speed(the ricer as you call it), the 996 model is out of fashion for long time here, nowadays Rennteam is mostly a 997 models forum, the best by far for newer Porsche.
As to the M6, even with all those save weight items, it still way more heavy than 996TT, so no chance for the Bimmer.

That's Gustav's forum and there are many doubts regarding those results at 6speedonline, especially because Markus (MKSGR) raced both a standard and a tuned M6 with his stock 996TT X50 and beat the standard M6, while staying neck-and-neck with the tuned M6, all the way to 310 km/h.
