    Wheel bolt to wheel stud conversion required for spacers?!

    Planning to add H&R 7mm spacers to my 997 C4S. Will I need to convert from wheel bolts to wheel studs to do this?!! Guy at parts supplier thinks so, but I can't believe that's true so I asked him to confirm and get back to me -- he seemed a lil' clueless, so I won't be holding my breath.

    For those of you who have added 7mm spacers, please chime in and let me know if you just needed longer wheel bolts. If so, were they provided with the spacers or did you have to order them separately?

    I've only seen 7mm spacers that slide over the hub and use lug bolts - you'll just need lug bolts that are 7mm longer. I ordered 7mm spacers from FVD and the longer lug bolts were included. The Porsche 5mm spacer kit also includes longer lug bolts.

    I ordered 7mm H&R for front and 14mm H&R rear but had to order longer bolts aswell, seperat part number -- bolts are exactly same type just longer. I have the parts in my hand and look foreward to put them on -- I have a 07 C2 in order for sept/oct delivery !!!

    I believe there are also a couple of machine screws (flush mount) that secure the spacers to the hub in a permanent fashion. One less thing to deal with when the wheels are off.
