    ok, sorry for that repost guys.... did a search on sportec but didn't find anything relevant for the 997...

    anyhow.. a damn cool upgrade anyhow.. 800+bhp

    Correct. However, all the fanboy boards around branded it a modified Turbo. Granted, the car has a 964-block engine, Turbo's AWD and the body is developed from a 996 Turbo shell, so essentially this IS a Turbo. The old one .

    I think they did test it. I know Ruf does test its cars in the wind tunnel before offering them to the market. Sportec does the same, from what I read a few years ago.
