    Can you find any justification for GT3 RS price ?

    Can anybody here find any explanation on how there's that price diference between GT3 RS and GT3 ?

    I would understand 23.000 Euro diference if ceramic brakes where standard on GT3 RS... If you quit 5000 Euro for the bucket seats that's 18000 Euro of diference. GT3 RS has wide body, special light weight parts like hood, rear window, rear spoiler... It has also competition suspension and.... what else more ???? Where are those 18000 Euro ??

    I think he was refering to the discrepancy between the RS and the regular price, seeing that there is very little substantive advantage for the RS.

    Furthermore, GT3RS price is unconscionable for US Market.

    The bonus of less cars developed will help your resale value, but this is not what a track person should be worrying about when trying to pick up a focused car...

    I really am begining to be a bit disenchanted with Porsche (at least how they treat the US).

    I hear the car will use a single-mass fly wheel, ensuring the engine revs freely; thus the off-the line performance will be more intense and be fractionally quicker. The rear wing is produced from carbon fiber. Also the rear axle is that of the Cup racecar, which might be the reason for the 44mm wider body of Carrera 4 shell. The increased track may increase stability and cornering grip as well.

    I feel your pain Hurst, and this is from a prospective buyer that had planned on making a long-term commitment with Porsche products. I don't understand how they [censored] on the US market.

    InEurope you buy a Lotus Exige S (the ultimate out-of-the-box track car weighing 935 Kg) and a supercharged 460Hp / 450Nm BMW M3 (with a warranty) for less than the cost of a standard GT3. Consumers have choices.

    The US market is rumored to not get the LWFW as well. Throw in the stupid sunroof and minus the CGT seats and it doesn't make sense to purchase the RS in the USA. ROW gets the real deal, but yet we buy the most cars. Stinkin idiots at PCNA.

    It's interesting that one dealer I spoke with a couple of weeks ago said I could go nearly to the head of the line on a GT3 (delivery in Dec) because several people had switched to the RS. He was mystified as was I. Only thing we could figure was the potential that it would be a little more "exclusive". Maybe they were hoping the RS would not have a sunroof
    But then agian maybe it will be exclusive 15 - 20 years from now - Biff to girl friend at the Pebbel Beach Concours d'Elegance 2026, "Hey check out that GT3RS, that was the year Porsche went insane and made a GT3RS with a sunroof...man, don't see too many of those around."
