    Cobalty, the first 987 S 3.4 in France

    Hi there,

    I've finally taken some pictures of my new '07 Boxster S

    The break-in is going well, about 2800 / 3000 km.

    It's an unbelievable thing. Compared to my previous 2000 Boxster S, it's a whole new car !

    Congratulations, that is very, very nice.
    We need a review of the 3.4L. You have some great roads in France for 'testing' your cars

    Is there any way to tell a 3.4L 987 from a 3.2L version from the outside?

    The review is coming soon, I promise.

    The decal is the logo of the independant porsche shop which sold me the car. Its owner is a good friend, he got me a 3.4 before the official release as a favor. I cannot thank him enough for that.

    I don't think there's anything different between the 2006 and 2007 Boxster exterior-wise.

    Ziggy, the car does come from Orléans but I actually live in Paris

    Canari, I saw this needle lying there afterward, I was too lazy to photoshop that out before posting

    I considered getting that option while ordering but I'm getting the PSE as soon as it's available and I don't know if it will come with new exhaust tips or not.

    Yep I thought the same thing... I don't understand how Porsche can sell them like that...

    Thanks for the pictures, great looking car. I pick mine up (hopefully) from Stuttgart on 29th September. Also cobalt blue with Carrera Classic wheels.

    Brasso (thanks RichC) brings them back like new with a little polishing.

    Rejex coating - then Meguiar's NXT chrome polish from that point on!

    So simply use REJEX first then Meguair's NXT? My pipe is getting very yellowish too from oxiation.

    zzboa, thank you sir, that's "stone grey". The natural grey was both too dark and too expensive

    Looks like its created alittle more space in that corner of the luggage area - enough for an extra can of cola !

    Looks a little more awkward to add oil too ?
