    Meteor Gray Pics?

    I've found a few 911 photos on here that show Meteor Gray, but does anyone have any links to any Metor Gray Boxster photos?

    I had a Seal 987 ordered for September but I had to change a couple of months back to Meteor as the paint codes changed and I didn't fancy paying a grand extra for Seal when Meteor looked a nicer colour (a little darker?) but it would be nice to see something other than the paint tile at the dealers before the car arrives

    Here in the UK my own dealer doesn't even get his demonstrator 07 Boxster until the end of this month (a 2.7, even though they requested an "S", the first of which won't get here until mid September). So I guess it is unlikely that there are any meteor grey cars around just yet. I drop into my dealer quite regularly and usually have my camera in the car, if I see one I'll snap it and post it for you.

    The base Caymna reviewed in this/next? months GT Purely Porsche magazine is meteor grey. I persoally don't like it, Seal has at least a bit of silverness to it, and atlas has some blackness and blueness, meteor just looks plain grey to me

    Thanks folks. Looks very similar to the Golf I had until a while back, which was called Anthracite Pearl Metallic.

    I like the look of it - shame there aren't a few more angles to capture the "metallicness" of the colour.

    ITs always difficult to tell from the pictures in magazines, but to my eyes it doesn't have much in the way of metallicness or sparkle..

    Sorry to do this but a bit of a bump really.. still haven't seen anything yet other than those magazine photos and the colour chip.

    those magazine photos are indeed slate , its slightly darker than meteor.

    The text of the article confirms it is Slate, it also confirms that the Cayman 2.7 isn't worth it over the Boxster or Boxster S.

    Just to follow up, I collected the car yesterday and despite being as nervous as hell when the dealers took off the dust cover it is IMHO a wonderful colour.

    I don't have any photo's but I would say it is slightly darker than Seal, seems metallic enough to me, and looks very similar to Percymon's photo/scan on Aug 16th.
