Marks on Windows

I am just wondering if anyone else has this problem!
everytime i lower/up the windows, i would see vertical strip marks, have to clean them everytime, else i wouldn't be able to see the side mirrors at night!

I have/dad the same plroblem on my 997. There has been a past thread about this on the forum, where someone expalins why. Mine has gone better after 6 month.

I have the same damn problem. Mostly passernger side window, i thought i was possibly from conditioner or window cleaner the factory used as part of the detail prior to me picking it up and managed to get some on the window liners...?!

Think you'll find its excess grease on the runners in the door, that then gets wiped against the seal - pain in the 4r5e.

Any solution to this? Or would that require new runners to be installed

The dealership told me that there's nothing that they can do about this one. I was bummed out too. It comes from the seal at the top, right where one of the joints is in the cab top. Then you end up dragging it down into the felt strip at the base of the window.

I cleaned the inside and outside of the glass with Rejex and it seems to have stopped - perhaps the glass surface is now a bit smoother and doesn't drag so much ?

The dealer can fix it. They need to go into the door and thoroughly clean the guides for the window. They probably would rather not worry about it as it will take several hours to finally get it clean.
