Loud Brake noise on my 997TT with 350 Miles
Hi guys, I'm a newbee here with a maintenance question.
I have an intermittent squeal that comes from my rear driver-side brake when I come to a slow stop. I hear nothing during hard braking but within 10 minutes of driving any slow stop lets out a noise that sounds like a huge dump truck with dirty brakes is stopping next to me.
I brought it to the dealer and they said that the brakes need to wear-in and that it could be corrosion build-up and/or humidity making the noise. Harder braking will help.
I'm not sure I believe that since it's only one brake that makes the noise. I never had an issue like this on my 996TT.
Outside of cleaning the brake and wheel for the 5th time, any ideas on what to do?
