Apparently the U.S. market received only 182 copies of 993 TTS, but even at US$165K it is still difficult to comprehend an additional $80K of mystique for the S model at 424 HP over the base 993 TT at 408 horsepower.

It is car number one, but I would not think it makes such a big difference on that model....

He's pretty stupid to sell such a car. Of all cars he must have, this one is definitly a keeper.
It's more rare the a carrera GT and with the money is making every year, he should just keep it. He might be funny and all but he's definitly not too smart.

According to fornes, the guy earned a $100 million last year. I think he won't give a damn if he makes another 100k or not on a car sale.
I can't believe that he's making so much money just by doing, well... barely a thing.

Yesterday, august 9th, i saw my first 993 turbo s. I was on the highway with a state trooper about 100 yards infront of me, so i was going nowhere fast. Luckily, this was to my advantage for a 993 turbo s was in my rearview mirror. At first i thought it was just a turbo, but i was quickly able to see the intakes over the rear wheels. The guy driving pulled up next to me at a fast rate of speed and quickly saw what was ahead so i was next to him for about 2 miles. My enjoyment came to an end though when he split to new jersey (lowering the value of the car) and i stayed in pennsylvania. I must say...it is the ultimate porsche having seen my fair share of cgt's and having a neighbor with a new carrera s, in cobalt blue, aero package, and pccb's. Just nothing can match it.

This is precisely why the 993 Turbo S autos are commanding better than average used market strength,--there were not that many made, and they are a terrific automobile. And of course, as some people know, when a blue turquoise car goes through the line at Zuffenhausen, they put a little more attention to detail into the cars,--as well as put the hottest engine they have into it!
