    Not sure if a larger glove box justifies the price hike $70,000 MSRP for the '07 Z06

    Supply and demand is all the justification they need. You can't buy one for $70,000 now. Raising the price will let the General share some of the gravy that the dealers have been keeping for themselves.

    Of course it's justified because of dealership pricing compared to MSRP...I just liked how they explain it as larger glove box better sound quality and a new paint job. See these things at the 'Ring all the time in the hands of German Ringmeisters.

    I think it's a bunch of crap, to raise the price simply because the dealers are marking up MSRP? Two wrongs don't make a right!

    My plan was to wait until the hype died down, get one in 2007, and gut it out. They can keep their glove box, new paint job, and improved sound proofing material. I sure hope they don't water this thing down...I might be better off finding one used since I am only going to tear it apart.

    That's not why they raised the price. They raised the price because they can and they have an obligation to maximize profits for the shareholders. Two wrongs? Is it wrong for you to buy a car for below MSRP when that's what the supply and demand allows? Gimme a freakin break.

    Makes sense for them to mark it up. They are already selling for what? 75, 80k? Why wouldn't GM take some of that cake?
