I would love to get yellow. But the interior for yellow sucks especially for those of us getting early allocations. I could wait but why would I want to do that? The RS is on the horizon and I have my eye on it but still not sure I will go for it.
The McLaren 720S looks interesting and is priced right. But if I have trouble handling 500hp what am I going to do with 700hp?
The RS is not confirmed and even if they make it chances are you won't be able to get one unless you are your dealer's favorite client. I don't know about the standard GT3 but the RS strictly for spirited driving on twisty roads and occasional track driving. It's not good at all for a daily driver, it is very unpleasant both in the city and on a highway.
For it's price the standard GT3 is a fantastic product and more honest than the RS. The GT3 RS is way to close to 488 money and I am yet challenged to find a scenario besides track driving when I would chose to go out with the RS over the 488. Of course when you start thinking about the cars as investments it is getting more complicated...
Let's just say I have a good relationship with my dealer. For an example, after the RS had been out one year, I indicated I was interested in one. I was told I would receive their next allocation. Shortly thereafter it became know that there would be a .2GT3 and advised the dealer I was no longer interested in the RS and wanted the .2GT3 instead.
