Final Shots and Reports on my Full Mod 997S
I've been gone a while. I've fully modded my 2006 997S, and joined another forum in the meantime as well, so you may have seen it on there. Anyways, I wanted to post here my finals. I went to the other post to talk with others about the mods that have done them, which I could find none on here. I had some kind people on here that I thought might like to see the end product.
Here's what all I've done, first of all.
Evolution Motorsports Supercharger
FabSpeed Exhaust and tips
FabSpeed Headers
GIAC Chip tuning (comes with sc kit)
H&R Lowering Springs
20" Avus AF-MO2 forged 3 piece wheels in Basalt Black
Cargraphic GT-2 Wing with Carbon uprights
Cargraphic Cup style front bumper
Cargraphic Carbon chin spoiler
The Rinspeed Side Skirts and rear bumper haven't been installed yet. They are late getting here.
Short shifter is in, but I haven't put it in. Waiting on carbon console and shifter to do it all at once.
Oh, I also got carbon mirrors from Evo, and they are MY FAVORITE thing about the car. And I got the clear corners, which make it look soooo nice.
The car had some initial idle issues, but the computer and Evo have/are taking care of that. It runs incredibly strong. Not like what you'd think 500HP feels like though, since the torque is around the 380 mark. But what's shocking is how fast the tach needle moves. It's crazy. And I can literally be rolling at idle in fourth gear to a red light, it turn green before I hit the brake, and roll on the throttle without any issues whatsoever. It's amazing. The car is supposed to have all of its power at redline now, but I notice it so much more at the 4k mark. Don't get me wrong... I rev the pee out of it. But it is just so fun to feel the push of the boost at 4k on to redline. No performance tests run yet, but I promise you that the car is a whole new animal.
