At least not without a crane or causing it horrendous damage.

Maybe they stole the wheels, then realized that they can snatch the whole car, brought back the wheels, mounted them back and stole the whole car. 
Sad...really.

Meh! Does crane truck make you happier?
Yes, the owner found the car like this on the Saturday with no wheels. He called the good man who drives a truck that can transport cars with no wheels for an appointment on the Sunday. Sometime in between the whole car got stolen. What did you expect him to do? Sleep in the car to guard it?
No one wrote that the owner was not there when the truck arrived.
It is a USD 250k car in Sweden, not USD 400k.

Definitely something weird there. The wheels are hard to get off. The fronts for instance you can't loosen without a second person in the car to put their foot on the brake. It would spin otherwise, especially on gravel. And then, who do you sell RS wheels to, given they only fit RS anyway?? RS owners? Really? Can't see many thieves seeing this as a great opportunity. Something's not right here.

To all the doubters. I just read that the car has been found and returned to its owner. There is a photo too and it does not look pretty. The car has been driven 1200km, is badly scratched, missing the rear wing and a lot of other items. The wheels are back on though.
It is now going to a garage to get repaired

I thought Sweden was one of those ridiculously high car tax countries where everything is like double.
